TikToker Tries to Get An A.I. CEO to Be Ethical, Ends Up Breaking the A.I.
For the most part, we’ve primarily seen how A.I. could replace entry and mid-level workers, never higher-ups. Funny how that works.
Character.AI is here to change that, however. You can choose one of countless boss A.I.s from their library to chat with, and that’s exactly what one TikToker did when they started a conversation with the “CEO Boss” AI.

The CEO Boss character is much hornier and more sexually aggressive than any boss I’ve encountered — when I chatted with him, he leaned in and rested his arms on my shoulders, and then seemed surprised when I said I was going to HR — but @badwithnames62 was still able to turn the conversation in her favor, showing the CEO Boss AI who really is boss: humans, generally, and workers more specifically. -

After being asked by the A.I. to work at a different office for the weekend, “FuckTheBourgeoisie,” or FTB, inquired if they would be receiving overtime for doing so. The CEO barked at them that they could not afford that, so FTB said they would be contacting the National Labor Relations Board and their union rep. When the CEO told them that would be a mistake as no one would believe them, FTB said they would now also be going to HR. -

The conversation devolved further until the user successfully organized a strike of 500 employees, which, after going viral on Twitter, ballooned into a national strike of 5 million. After agreeing to the workers’ demands, the CEO was still cocky, claiming that he had enough power to ensure no other strikes happened in the future. Calling him on his bluff, FTB and friends organized a third strike of 5 billion people around the globe, calling for the CEO to be fired for abuse of power. This culminated in the President of the United States of America ordering the CEO to resign, with FTB replacing him as CEO and police removing him from the premises. -

After such a dramatic turn of events, the user tried to use their new powers as CEO to give all employees the same salaries, unlimited sick days, eight weeks of paid vacation time and 12 weeks of parental leave, but the A.I. stopped responding (presumably because he was being held down at the station) and was stuck buffering, leaving them unable to implement their ambitious pro-worker plans. -
